Different teenage pregnancy rates studies.

The birth rate for teenage mothers (15 to 19 years) in Colombia is 69 per 1000 women of this age. In Chile this figure is 55, in Peru 51, in Argentina 54, in Paraguay 67 and in Bolivia 72. Teenage pregnancy rates in the United Kingdom is 26, and in the United States is 31. These data do not count the pregnancies that have not culminated in the birth of a child. Other data from private entities such as Profamilia, in Colombia, suggest that these rates are much higher; thus, they estimate that the rate in Colombia is around 84 births per 1000 women aged between 15 and 19 years old (The Lancet 385; 1495-1496, 2015).
