These “baby factories” refer to buildings, hospitals or orphanages that encourage young girls or women to give birth to children for sale on the black market, often to infertile couples, singles, homosexuals or to organ trafficking rings. The authors said, “Pregnant women and young teenage girls are voluntarily or forcefully impregnated and kept illegally until their babies are born and then sold for monetary gains”.factoria  It is paradoxical that, while surrogacy is not well accepted in this region, “baby factories” are (Reproductive  Biomedicine Online 32; 6-8, 2016). There is no question of the serious ethical problems that this practice raises in that it means commodification of women, often the poorest, which moreover is a serious social problem.
