DATA PROTECTION POLICY

UCV informs Users of its website that the personal information successfully obtained by the entity by means of the forms located on its pages will be treated under the responsibility of UCV for the purposes of being able to facilitate, process and fulfil the commitments established between both parties.

The legal basis of legality or legitimation of the treatment of the information will reside, where appropriate, in the consent indicated by the interested party by completing and submitting the forms provided to that effect or to execute the contract or previous contractual relation of which you are part.

If the User does not communicate opposition to UCV, it will understand that their information has not been modified, that the User commits himself to notifying UCV of any variation and that UCV has the consent to use it with the purposes of offering the information of the centres for which the User has requested information.

Furthermore, UCV informs that with respect to the information in the forms of the websites of third parties, users will ultimately be those in charge of the personal information they enter and the ones who will have to take the necessary technical and organisational measures according to the level of security of the information successfully obtained so that they guarantee the security of the personal information and avoid its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorised access.

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, suppression, portability, limitation and, where appropriate, opposition by sending a request in writing, accompanied by photocopies of your national identity document or equivalent identifying document, to Oficina del Delegado de Protección de Datos, Plaza San Agustín, 3 Entlo. B Puerta C 46002 Valencia or, where appropriate, to the email address dpd@ucv.es. In addition, in the event that you feel that your rights to protection of personal information may have been compromised, you will be able to file a claim before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos www.agpd.es).

PUBLICATION OF IMAGES OF PEOPLE

In relation to the images of people that appear on the websites, UCV publishes them with a serious respect to Statutory Law 1/1982 enacted on 5 May, on the protection of the right to honour, personal and family privacy, and to one’s own image.

The User is not authorised to reproduce, distribute and share photographic and/or videographic images. These images are only used, solely and exclusively, for the creation of graphic or videographic files for the purpose of presenting and informing in relation to the different activities carried out by UCV.

Treatment of images of students, professors or administration and services staff is conducted with serious respect towards the person eliminating any images or shootings that may be against fundamental rights. The images are not used for purposes other than those expressed neither are they shared with third parties except for those for which we have expressed consent.

In any case, the person affected by a publication of their image on the website, either on their own or through a legal representative, may revoke the consent or oppose to the treatment of the image or to exercise the rights of access, modification or cancellation, at any time, by submitting a written statement, accompanied by photocopies of their national identity document, to the e-mail or postal address indicated at the beginning of this notice.
