Free from Ebola infection and Covid-19 vaccination campaign

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has officially announced that Ebola outbreaks in the country are over, as it has now been free from Ebola infection for more than two years. Indeed, on 18 November, the World Health Organization announced that no new cases had been identified for 42 days, twice the length of the virus incubation period. This may have been influenced by a massive vaccination campaign, for which -80 degree freezers have been used to transport the vaccines, equipment that could also be used to transport SARS-CoV-2 vaccines (see more HERE).
