Hormonal contraceptives risk factors
A recent report by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has stated that hormonal contraceptives should not be used in women with contradictions for their use, as they can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, especially when oestrogens are used. The study found that 39.2% of women who used contraceptives had objective risk factors, particularly of cardiovascular events. This is therefore one more fact when evaluating the ethics of contraception.

Lectures hurt student performance – compared to more effective means of teaching – whether recorded or live. At least online education (but not not recorded lectures) can offer some hands-on experience that a lecture can’t.
